Our newspaper and online news website cover the latest stories about rural Idaho. We also feature classified ads, legal notices, as well as information about various business, schools and other organizations’ events. We proudly serve the Boise County school districts as well as the following communities: Boise Basin – Horseshoe Bend – Garden Valley – Idaho City – Placerville – Lowman – Centerville – Crouch – Wilderness Ranch – Star Ranch – Clear Creek This is a weekly newspaper, published every Wednesday. The Idaho World has been the official record for Boise County for over 154 years, and is the oldest continuous newspaper in Idaho. The Idaho World is responsible for legal publications within Boise County.

Obituaries are a FREE service for our county residents.
The Idaho World honors those Boise County residents that have passed on and will not burden families with this expense. This is a community service the World offers to its residents.
