Quilting Guild’s Year End Picnic Reveals NICU Blanket Donations

GARDEN VALLEY - The Quilter’s Guild annual year end picnic is a culmination of many projects the large group of ladies work on throughout the year. The ladies meet at Pat Marion’s home on the Middlefork River and hang up handmade baby quilts to view. The quilts go to the St. Luke’s Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The quilts are a special project the guild does every year.
This year there were over fifty–two quilts ready for donations with twenty-eight made by Linda Schrader, a former quilt guild member. Lisa Siddall, a NICU volunteer and Certified Registered Nurse Robbie Solomon came to the picnic to receive the blankets.
