The Solar Eclipse: Coordination and Preparedness Meetings Intensify

Garden Valley -- The Solar Eclipse of 2017 is a huge event in a very small area across the United States. This total eclipse has people flocking to the areas where there will be total darkness for over two minutes. This will happen at around 11:28am on August 21st in the Garden Valley area. This will bring upwards of over an estimated forty-thousand people, rushing to view the total eclipse in Idaho, Oregon and Wyoming. This is a very rare event and will not happen here again in our lifetime.
The eclipse has been on the local news channels and other media. Boise alone has sold-out all hotel and motel rooms, bed and breakfast and Airbnb already for people wanting to be close to the path of the eclipse for viewing.
