“It looks like you’ve lost your primary care provider, so we’re thinking about some things we can do to maybe bring somebody back up here.” Senator Thayn stated that he had spoken with the Basin School’s Superintendent, John McFarlane, regarding medical issues. He explained his political stance, “I’m a conservative that is interested in education, health & welfare, health issues. That’s usually not what conservatives get involved in, kind of a long story there. In this last legislative session, there has been an increase in teacher’s salaries and “a hundred point six million” went towards public schools.
