Chief Deputy Prosecutor Retires

Jay Rosenthal has been Chief Deputy Prosecutor as well as interim appointed prosecutor and a Deputy Prosecutor for the Boise County Prosecuting Attorney's office for numerous years. At 80 years old, he has finally decided to retire and will be finishing up his work for the County at the end of April. Boise County owes Jay a great debt for his incredible work ethic and loyal service which ensured that, despite office turmoil and multiple administration changes, the County's criminal cases were still being professionally and properly handled and that justice was being done. His unparalleled experience and knowledge and warm sense of humor will be sorely missed. He will never get the thanks that is due him because his work was usually under the radar and went unnoticed.
