SW Region Fish & Game Propose Big Game Fee Increase

Garden Valley - Public meetings have started to gather input for proposed changes and objectives to big game hunting seasons. The dozens of years of milder winters and a liberal wolf harvest the elk populations continue to rise. Hunters have had significant success rates while having limited tags. The first in a series of meetings was held in Garden Valley last week, with over 25 citizens asking questions to Fish and Game Officer, Rick Ward.
One of the big concerns was addressing the rapid sellout of tags in less than an hour, leaving hunters frustrated and wanting change. This is a problem of congested internet bandwidth.
