Former Idaho City Clerk in Court

Tammy Ellsworth appeared in court for an initial appearance on an 8 count complaint, filed by the Boise County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. She formally served as the Idaho City, City Clerk and was accused of 8 felony counts of “Public Funds- Misuse of by a Public Officer or Employee”.
The magistrate judge advised Ellsworth of her Constitutional Rights, as someone accused of felony. Ellsworth was represented by an attorney, at her November 2nd court appearance. She was not asked to enter a plea at this time.
The defendant’s attorney will meet with a judge to preform “criminal mediation,” prior to the preliminary hearing. He mentioned that there were 5 DVD and 6 CDs of discovery, and a stack of documents to go through. Both attorneys asked for an extension to review all of this material...
